Recycle pick-up is once weekly on Mondays.
Brevard County uses single stream recycling. What can be recycled and can't is very specific and non intuitive.
A single item mistakingly placed in recycle can cause an entire bin to be discarded into the trash.
Please follow these guidelines and the Do's and Don'ts charts below :
*Do Not bag items. Items must be loose.
*No Plastic bags, including grocery plastic bags.
*Rinse and let dry all non paper or cardboard items. A small amount of food residual can "spoil" an entire bin.
*No wet paper products.
*No garbage or food waste!
*Include ONLY paper; flat cardboard; plastic bottles, jugs, & tubs; aluminum & steel cans; and glass bottles & jars.
*If in doubt throw it out!
